Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021 as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent she covers everything from NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space firms and tourism in space. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as an White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Kristin was on the road extensively, including both the president and vice-president. She even went on a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in 2015. Using her skills in front of the camera Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company focused on making documentary-style movies for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she earned at Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
